Scale Armor is a group of technologies in Age of Empires. All are researched in the Bronze Age, at the Storage Pit. All technologies improves armor of all cavalry, infantry and archers by 2 points.

- Scale Armor Cavalry costs 150 Food and 50 Gold and increases cavalry armor by another 2 points.
- Scale Armor Archers costs 125 Food and 50 Gold and increases archer armor by another 2 points.
- Scale Armor Infantry costs 100 Food and 50 Gold and increases infantry armor by another 2 points.
All have a successor in the Iron Age, Chain Mail.
